  • Employees
  • Volunteers
  • Consultants

How to Report

Serious concerns should be submitted through WAP's approved reporting mechanism. Please do not send highly sensitive whistleblowing information through WAP's general enquiries or partnership email addresses unless a channel has been specifically designated for this purpose.

Appropriate Reporting

Good-Faith Reporting

You do not need to investigate a matter yourself before raising a genuine concern. A concern raised honestly and in good faith should be treated responsibly even if subsequent review does not substantiate the allegation.
Protection From Retaliation: WAP does not accept inappropriate retaliation against individuals who raise genuine concerns in good faith or participate appropriately in an authorized review process. Concerns about retaliation may themselves be reported through the appropriate channel.
Confidentiality: WAP seeks to handle whistleblowing concerns with appropriate confidentiality and care. Information may need to be shared with authorized persons where necessary to assess or respond to a concern, protect individuals, meet legal obligations or take appropriate action. Absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in every circumstance.
Safeguarding Concerns: Use the Appropriate Reporting Channel If a concern involves sexual exploitation or abuse, child safeguarding or another serious safeguarding matter, it should be reported through WAP’s dedicated safeguarding mechanism.
Suspected Things

Fraud and Corruption

Suspected fraud, corruption, bribery, theft or misuse of organizational resources should be reported through the appropriate WAP fraud and integrity reporting mechanism.

General Complaints and Feedback

Privacy and Personal Information

Personal information provided through WAP's reporting mechanisms will be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements and the WAP Privacy Policy.
