Resources intended for humanitarian and organizational purposes should be managed responsibly and used for their intended purposes.

Responsible stewardship means using funds, assets and other resources carefully and for legitimate organizational purposes.

WAP seeks to maintain appropriate systems that support accountability, transparency and responsible management of resources.

Procurement and Fairness

WAP seeks to conduct procurement and supplier engagement in a fair, responsible and transparent manner appropriate to the circumstances.

Improper payments, bribery, collusion, undisclosed conflicts of interest and other forms of procurement misconduct are unacceptable.

Conflicts of Interest

People making decisions on behalf of WAP should act in the interests of the organization and its humanitarian purpose.

Actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interest should be disclosed and handled appropriately.

Partners, Suppliers and Contractors

WAP expects partners, suppliers, consultants and contractors working with the organization to conduct themselves with integrity and comply with applicable contractual, ethical and legal requirements.

Fraudulent or corrupt conduct connected with WAP activities is unacceptable regardless of who is involved.

Raising a Concern

Report Suspected Fraud or Corruption

Anyone who becomes aware of suspected fraud, corruption, bribery, theft or serious misuse of WAP resources is encouraged to raise the concern through the appropriate reporting mechanism.

Please do not send highly sensitive allegations or confidential evidence through WAP's general enquiries email unless that channel has been specifically designated for that purpose.

Good-Faith Reporting

WAP encourages genuine concerns to be raised in good faith.

Individuals should not be expected to investigate suspected wrongdoing themselves before raising a concern.

Information relating to suspected fraud or corruption should be handled responsibly and with appropriate confidentiality.

Personal information submitted through an approved reporting mechanism will be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements and the WAP Privacy Policy.
